What will you be doing on the Rule Day?
You sign your rental agreement You apply for social assistance benefits You apply for the furnishing credit for your home You apply for health insurance You apply for household contents / liability insurance You apply for gas, light and water You apply for Internet and TV

In addition to the social assistance benefit, there are other social benefits to which you may be entitled:

We advise you:
Bear in mind that you have to move to your new home within 2 weeks of signing the lease. Contact the Refugee Council if you need help furnishing your home. Read our information about living and how to get all practical matters around it.
