When you hear that you are getting a house in the municipality, you will be invited by a customer manager of the municipality for a first acquaintance. A refugee worker is also present at this meeting. This introductory meeting will be held at the municipality's Social Department. During the first introductory meeting, we look at what kind of work experience you have in your country of origin. We also look at your language level and what kind of work you want and can do. Keep in mind that the first introductory meeting can take a long time. During the workshops: “Welcome to the Netherlands” you will learn more about the city and your options here. You will gain knowledge here that you will be able to use to feel at home as soon as possible. During the city tour you will get to see the most important places in your future city.
